I just couldn't do it. I kept trying and pushing and it wasn't worth it. The heroine was a pretentious idiot who believed she was better than everyone because she was obsessed with Shakespeare because apparently he is the King of Words. Which I am SO OVER in books. He was not the be all and end all of words and writing. In fact he kinda sucks. This book was clearly a retelling of Taming of the Shrew, but I just don't care. I am also done with the, "I'm not like other GIRLS. I hate all GIRLY things cause they are worthless." It is hurtlfu forward women and just has no place now. Let people like what they want to like!
