I love the 99U series, and I would recommend all three books to anyone in even a slightly creative profession--hell, I'd even say read them if you work in something number-oriented like accounting.

Each book is broken down into chapters, and there are a handful of short essays in each chapter. Each essay is short, to the point, and helpful. Usually the essays propose one thing to help you grow professionally or personally (sometimes both).

Each chapter ends with a "key takeaways" section that quickly and clearly summarizes the main point from each essay.

This book (and series) work so well because the content is good (no fluff!) and it's arranged in a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate way.

Buku ini berisi 4 chapters yaitu Defining Your Purpose, Building Your Product, Serving Your Costumer, dan Leading Your Team. Setiap babnya terdiri dari kumpulan artikel pendek yang ditulis oleh pelaku bisnis kreatif maupun pengusaha dan satu QnA tentang topik terkait.
Chapter pertama isinya mirip-mirip dengan Find Your Why - nya Simon Sinek.

Third book of the 99u series.
Again some great insights! I especially enjoyed the second half of the book: ‘Serving your customers’ and ‘Leading your team’ Had not read much on these subjects before.

This series of books by Jocelyn K. Glei and 99U (Behance) are phenomenally good reads for creatives, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. I own all three books and hope they continue to produce such high quality publications; the format and writing style is fluid, inspiring, and enlightening. Make Your Mark provides practical insights into building and maintaining a creative business, defining purpose, building products, serving customers, and leading teams.

This book has some good nuggets of wisdom and pieces of smart advice for the potential entrepreneur. Maybe it's just the grumpy old man in me coming out (I'm probably about twice the age of this books intended audience), but a lot of it seemed to be surrounded by this kind of new-agey, mystical verbage that kind of diminished the imoact for me. I had to work a little harder than I expected to extract the good stuff, but there IS good stuff.
