Not really feeling this book. Neither the format nor the information felt compelling.

A bit slow and repetitive.

Definitely evil.
I think that the process of seduction should be talked about in a more respectful way.

However, I have gained insights on how my behaviors might be negatively affecting me in relation to others.
I'm a bit clueless when it comes to relationships, so it definitely helped me.

The problem is that I feel dirty now; I used to be very naive when it comes to relationships.
It got me out of the gutter and made me start having a way more playful approach to it, and start considering seduction as an art. (yep, that's the title of the book).

Of course, there are examples in the book where the seducer absolutely breaks the other person.
Yeah, this is bad; some people are criticizing Greene for inciting it.
I don't have much experience, so I don't know if this is really needed/dangerous.

It definitely has a "rapey" vibe, though.
On someone kind, it will make them a bit more pushy (good).
On someone who doesn't know boundaries, it will cause catastrophies.

Good luck everyone!

(this book is also the reason why I keep my profile non-public, lol)

You have to be able to take it for what it is. A book on the psychology of human beings and seduction. Greene is so good at breaking things down to every little aspect, and he does it again here. Fascinating to see how people are the way they are when it comes to love and seduction.

The Art of Seduction was recommended by a partner of mines. I believe she wanted me to learn more about how to seduce but I ended up learning more about historical seducers that weren’t just seductive in a sexual way but seductive in a way that made people like you and follow you. I did listen to this via audiobook and I just want to shout out the narrator. His voice made the book and information all the more interesting.
