I couldn’t stop smiling while reading this book, I couldn’t wait to purchase the paperback version of the book and just hug it. And also, because of this book I wanna visit Clovelly in North Devon and just enjoy the pictureque houses and the beach!

I love this book soo much, thank you Kiley Dunbar. Your writing is a top-notched, and Elliot is the kind of character I’d always love to read whenever I’m looking for my next read, and I love how naive but at the same time strong Jude is, I aspire to be her.

This book has really got me to feel some type of way, and suddenly I’m looking at my surrounding with profound appreciation because of how Kiley Dunbar described the scenic Clove Lore.

Elliot's big secret was so anticlimactic and weird?? Jude was a bit too naive for a 29 year old caretaker AND where are the bookshop shenanigans i was promised?? Had some super cute parts too though

I love the concept of this series: rent a bookshop for two weeks and run it as your own?! It's the perfect booklovers vacation, obviously.

However, as much as I wanted to love this book, there was a lot of content I didn't care for. Content warnings include: frequently inferred sex scenes and a lot of discussion about the romantic relationships of the main character's gay best friend.
