Not quite as hilarious as Zorro Gets An Outfit, but still pretty great. More! More!

As authentic and engaging a story as the other two in the series.

I so love Zorro and Mister Bud. The author is the illustrator and the story and the drawings are perfect with each other. Poor Mister Bud, he has a spot on his back and he has to wear the cone. Zorro tries to help but you know how Zorro is. Such a cute little series about these wonderful dogs. Can't wait to read the next one.

2017 - Well, I'm sure this happens, but I saw this in my library and didn't realize I had already read it. But that's ok. It's such a cute little book. I just love Mister Bud and Zorro.

Mr. Bud has a hot spot, and when his person puts a cone on him while she goes away Mr. Bud's friend Zorro sees an opportunity to have some fun at his expense. Very cute, dare I say "adorable" drawings by an artist who has helped to create characters for Brave, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc. and more.

Dog and dog lovers will relate to poor Mister Bud as he is forced to wear the cone (of shame, as I will always refer to it after watching "Up").

Mister Bud has a hot spot. Unfortunately this means that he has to wear a cone while his owner is out. His misery is compounded by the relentless teasing from Zorro the pug. The playful illustrations provide a fun look at an experience all dog owners will relate to. Recommended for grades K-2.

This is really cute, but for some inexplicable reason, I got a little teary-eyed when Zorro and Mister Bud's owner came home. Zorro, the naughty, smug little pug, had been teasing the cone-bound Mister Bud, when calamity happens. Zorro is overjoyed that Mister Bud is going to get in trouble, but the owner is kind and loving to the poor old hot-spot-ridden dog. The tables are turned when she sees the havoc caused by Zorro and had some stern words for him. I really liked this.
