An arranged marriage with age gap love story. Atlas, the MMC is forced to marry his mentors daughter, Liesel. It’s a small town romance with just enough spice to push you through the story. I enjoyed seeing the Souter sides of Atlas as he navigates his wife’s RA diagnosis. Overall it was a cute little love story.

Thanks to the author for giving me an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book and so will you if you’re into age gap romance and arranged marriage. I am not a huge fan of the age gap romance trope but it didn’t feel forced or off in this book, it was actually pretty well done.

I loved Liesel, she is such a nice character and I empathized with her a lot of the times throughout the books. She is suffering from a chronic illness called Rheumatoid Arthritis that, besides having to take care of both her mother and her father, is making her life harder. But then comes Atlas who is there for her at any moment and even at first, while he is just a temporary husband to her, he is very helpful and makes her life a little bit easier.

I really enjoyed watching the characters live their lives and I loved all the small town vibes and the very close family dynamic.
