This was a very enjoyable series of books that had me hooked from page three when Stagger makes a comment on Brains and vocal cords that made me chuckle.
Besides being an entertaining read these books are also quite thought-provoking due to their blend and mix of several different literary elements from the genres of fantasy, theology, conservation, sci-fi, even superheroes, which is not always obvious at the time of reading.
My only quibble with this series is book four, Cinder, which was spoilt by the sheer number of grammatical errors which just act like a slap in the face and I am sure could have been picked up by using a spell checker.
In summary, this series is well worth reading, the characters are engaging, the plot is interesting and thought-provoking with a satisfying ending.
