Not sure how much Robby got out of reading this one, as it deals with a lot of puns and idioms...but I thought the jokes were funny!

I remember owning this book and loving it so much. I'm convinced this is where my sense of humor came from. This and childhood trauma (amirite???)

My son was entertained but I didn’t seem to think there was much to the story.

More adventures of a boy who takes expressions literally when they are about body functions. Appropriate for ages 4+

Good book to use with a lesson on figurative language. It has so many idioms to pull out as examples for the class: give me a hand, lose your head, etc.

Another fun book from Arnold about odd phrases in the English language that confuse most kids.

And the paranoia continues!! One of the things I like about this books is Tedd Arnold's illustrations, they're fantastic and very fun to look at.
