That is this book in a nut shell.
Happy with where everything ended up (minus the utterly unnecessary epilogue…. Ummm, novella please!) and characters were written in a way that felt like an east progression of development and arcs.
Devastation happened, allies formed and broken, and just basically a hero battle the likes of Avengers End Game.
I think it does need a novella to make up for the glaring and gaping hole that this epilogue left, but otherwise things were pretty satisfying.

Minor: Sexual assault and Child abuse

It’s been a while since I read Renegades and Archenemies, but it was easy to fall back into the superheroes world. I’ve always been a fan of those stories, and Marissa Meyer wrote this one brilliantly. The story kept surprising me.
It’s not perfect, and it relies a little too much on romance as “stronger than anything else”, but it was very entertaining. I’m glad I finally finished this trilogy. Kinda wish there was a spin-off following that epilogue though 😅
