A book has never made me cry quite like this one.

Damn, this went downhill. First it was boring, then got better which almost made me forgive but the end dragged itself in a way that doesn't deserve forgiveness. Noah indeed is the boy, the man, the lover, but he himself couldn't carry this story to a successful end. Arianna fell flat at times, I wish I had more reasons to love her so I understood why Noah did. Also I felt there were too many side characters who just didn't get enough space for me to care for them. Yeah, this book tried to do too much and it left me unsatisfied. Whatever, hopefully we aren't what we read because that would make me a hell of a nobody.

First off, let me start off by saying this book is a 5 ⭐️ read! and what a journey this book was! This was my first book by Megan Brandy, and it didn’t disappoint not one bit. The book starts off so innocent and fun, a group of friends, more like family really, heading off to college together to start their adult lives. They’re all thick as thieves. The story focuses around Arianna, Ari for short, our FMC, and her journey of love and healing. This is told in such a beautifully tragic way. The author rips our hearts out. I stayed up till 2am silent sobbing next to my husband to finish this. I couldn’t put it down and needed to know how this story ended. I cannot emphasize this enough, it is SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN.
Also, there is spice and I give this one 3 🌶️
If you’re on the fence abt this one, just read it. It’s amazing. It’ll be one I’m left thinking abt for a long time and telling all my book besties abt.

Adored this book & the two main characters! Ari’s friend group was so cute and supportive and they all had their own clear characters which was as nice. The push and pull  and twists and turns were great! Such a funny, cute, wholesome story with great tension and build up - but then sad and deep story. Book boyfriend top spot is now reserved for Noah Riley - perfection!!!

This is, without question, the worst book I have ever read.

The dialogue was laughably cringy, there were probably 15 completely different plots, tons of unresolved storylines, and a plethora of pointless side characters with unnecessarily elaborate backstories.

If I wasn’t reading this for my book club, this would’ve been a DNF for me.

Honestly, who wants a romance with a side of
amnesia, 2 tragic car accident storylines, the love interest being orphaned, and characters that mostly only have sex when they’re heartbroken

This was literally just such a bizarre and horrible read. I don’t understand how it has so many positive reviews.
