"Life is not about the shadow you cast on your enemies . . . but the shade you provide to your friends." -- Groot's motto, which also sums up the story of "Groot"

I really enjoyed this comic. I was a little nervous about a series being based on a character that can say only 3 words, but Loveness and Kesinger did a great job of working around it. Groot was both sweet, entertaining and a quick read.

One of my all-time favorite comics! A space epic that knows when to be peaceful and when to brim with action.

I read this in single issues. This was so cute. I love the story of Groot and his adventure. A very fun read.

Groot imagining the Avengers as Groot look-alikes is wonderful. Iron Groot! SpiderGroot!

Love, love, love. I don't know how they took a character who only has three words in it's vocabulary and make it one of the best graphic novels I've read all year, but they did. I loved it.

This is probably one of my favourite marvel comic series I've read! I do have to say that Groot is my favourite Marvel character, so I've quite bias.

This was everything I wanted and more. I am quite sad because from what I know this is a single volume series. There were so more things I loved about this!

I should just get started with the PROs and CONs:
- The art-style in this series was, yes I'm going to say it, the best art style I've seen from a Marvel comic so far. The illustrations were straight out beautiful and the colours were so vibrant! I seriously want to hang all the pages of this comic series on my wall, however that'd hurt the hard work the publishers put into binding the physical format :P
- IT HAS GROOT IN IT!
- Again, I love it when there are cameos from other parts of the Marvel universe, eg. The Silver Surfer, Dawn Greenwood, The X-Men, and a little bit of The Guardians of The Galaxy in the mix. It made it even more engaging.
- IT HAS GROOT IN IT!
- I have always been craving a Groot back story, and this comic gave me that and more!
- IT HAS GROOT IN IT!
- I don't think I have ever been so emotionally invested in a Marvel comic before. I have with other graphic novels, but at times this made me want to tear up. GROOT IS MY BABY <3
- IT HAS GROOT IN IT!
- The action in this comic bind up is crazy!
- And, I may have forgotten to mention this, so I'll say it now - IT HAS GROOT IN IT!

CONs:
- I have none honestly.

I loved this.
Instant favourite of mine!
