You guys Corinne just knows how to hit all of my emotional buttons. I swooned. I cried. I laughed. I was furious. All of the emotions had flooded through me at one point during this book. I am unwell.
Catherine. I feel for her so much. She is working through a lot in her life, and Jackson comes and sweeps her off her feet. These two are battling unspoken battles, and my heart breaks for them. It also warms me how good they are together. Their chemistry and bond is something everyone should feel in a lifetime.
The spice. Oh, so delicious. ❤️🔥 We love a good make up scene.
I despise Neil and Piper. Horrible humans, seriously. On the flipside, Ashton is a best friend everyone needs. She is real, caring, and protective.
That ending. What can I say about that ending?! Just that my heart shattered. I sobbed uncontrollably. I immediately started the next book trying to figure out what was going to happen.

If it weren’t for Jackson, I would have given this a one star. I love the authors other books but I couldn’t stand Catherine. I am not nearly invested enough to care how their story ends so I will be skipping the next book.

I think there is no real chemistry between them and crear problems that are no there. Spicy, though!

I honestly was loving the book this book would have been a four star read a least. But of course the last 10 pages there’s a slur for Muslims. I don’t fuck with that. Like what and trust me as a girl from a small white town with a lot people in the military i know it’s said and I’ve heard all the devils advocate speech of why they are used. I don’t care. It’s not okay and it’ll never been okay.
