This was such a great book.Very much enjoyed it through many tears, which is exactly what I needed. I really like how she tied in Still Beating and Lotus. Allowing a 2nd chance at happiness is key here.

Thank you Jennifer Hartmann & Valentine PR for this ARC!

Jennifer Hartmann has a way of writing such intricate, deeply moving stories that stick with you long after you finish reading - and this book was no different.

I was instantly captivated by page ONE and could not put it down. This novel had completely unexpected plot points, haunting experiences, and incredible love stories. I laughed, I sobbed, I enjoyed. A moving story of healing, friendships, and love.

If you enjoyed Still Beating and Lotus, you’re sure to adore this novel as well.

I’ve been waiting for Tabitha and Gabe’s story and it didn’t disappoint. The writing was perfect and the story was all emotions rolled into one. Highly recommend if you’ve read Still Beating and Lotus.

brb sending jennifer hartmann an itemized bill from my therapist because this was EMOTIONALLY DAMAGING‼️

thank you to valentine pr and jennifer hartmann for the eARC in exchange for an honest review! this book came with all the heartache of “still beating” and the cutesy fluff of “lotus”, except the back and forth between the two made for the most painful emotional whiplash and i’m going to need a moment to breathe after that

As a certified slut for Jennifer hartmann, this shit was fantastic.

Ive read most of her books and this is in her top 5 best books. I really enjoyed it.

My inner monologue while reading the entire time was “don’t get attached hes already dead” on loop. Can you believe I still forgot and cried? lol
