I can not express how happy I am that I read this. Fake Dating is by far one of my fave tropes and I want more of it! I definitely shipped Luc & Oliver’s love story from the get go, so I’m happy with how it played out. Give me grumpy, snarky & British any day!!

I inhaled this book. I just couldn't stop reading once I started, in no small part because I absolutely loved the voice it's written in. Luc is exactly my brand of disaster and I related so hard to almost every single internal thought in this novel. It was a genuine delight to read, from the characters to the fake dating trope (a personal favorite!) to the very real feelings on insecurities and trust and love and I'm so glad I started the year with it!

okay so apparently i don’t hate romance books, i just don’t give a shit about straight people... because i loved this so much
this book is cheesy af, it’s basically every fanfic you’ve ever dreamed of and it’s so damn good.
i will always be here for the fake dating trope

I can’t think of a book that has made me laugh harder and also cry! The premise is great, the protagonists flawed but believable and understandable (relatable, even), and I deeply resented the fact that the need to sleep and adult prevented me from finishing it one night.
Moderate: Homophobia

Absolutely laugh-out-loud Brit humor rom-com for anyone who loves cheeky/dark(ish) humor. This was recommended to me when I asked for a great, funny audiobook, and it was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend.
