I rarely get a chance to read a good romance with this much suspense and steamy goodness...definitely had all thee above plus some extras.

Juliette Scaglione is just coming back from a Mexican vacation she took with he brother and boyfriend. The part that sucks she's coming back alone without her brother and single because she doesn't have a boyfriend anymore. As she grips her heavy luggage in the busy New York airport she's is stopped by the sexiest man she has ever seen and has no clue why this adonis among men wishes to speak to her in private. Matt Gonzalez is a DEA agent and he just received a tip from his informant that could help with the take down of the cartel. What he didn't expect was the potential suspect looking innocently seductive and that she would get under his skin. The attraction came to a holt when the suitcase in question didn't just carry clothes and as the opinion of innocence for Juliette slowly begin looking very criminal to Matt ...both of their world exploded into chaos.

Fighting for survival against the cartel, nature, and sexual tension Juliette and Matt must work together to get back on US soil.

This book had some brutal torture weaving throughout the story, but necessary as it brought the romance within the plot to come together. The betrayal was just so heartbreaking and just made you want to reach in the story to help fix everything. I was rooting for Jules the whole time and just wanted her to get her HEA immediately after everything she was going through.

The heat between Matt and Jules ...MY GAWD...was just scorching HOT! Plus the way the author slid in that sexual surprise ...like SAY WHAT NOW! This story was worth the emotional rollercoaster I was on reading this ...it was suspenseful as hell. I need to find out more about Matt's brothers because their stories probably will be as good as Matt's. You have to read this book its a 10 out 10 for me

Will they learn to trust each other in time?

I love a romance that is both erotic with a good dose of suspense. Matt & Juliette's story sure does deliver. She's just been dumped by her longtime boyfriend & he's a DEA agent trying to find a drug mule. Add in being kidnapped by the cartel & thrown into a Mexican prison, can their lives get any worse?
To survive can they learn to trust each other?.

I received a free copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Intimate Escape was a suspenseful read with an exciting twist at the end. The twist was predictable but ended up being even more involved than anticipated. Overall a great, quick read. Would recommend.
