When you finish a book in 4 hours losing your sleep you know the book was worth every minute of it. I spent the rest of the night crying.

The title very well spoils the end but I couldn't stop ignoring the fact that the book was just too overwhelming and it brought a very different perspective about life.

What if we knew this was the last day of our lives ? Will we continue to the same life ? Or will we change every freaking thing about it?

I just realised how many things I would like to do if this was the last day of my life.

Thanks to the author for bringing in such deep perspectives to our lives.

I am just blabbering everything here coz that's how incoherent my thoughts are.

I hope one of you get to feel the same way as I do, so that I won't feel so lonely with these thoughts.

it took me a while to get through the first 75ish pages but I read the rest of it pretty quickly. I think I am on the end of people that really liked this book so I'm giving it a 4.49 because it would be a 4.5 but I want it to round down to a 4. I really liked the two main characters and how it had many different perspectives.

This book was wonderful! The romance (at least to me) seemed like an afterthought, but it made me very sad :'). 4.2/5 stars; I thought that something better could have been done with the concept but it was overall very well done.

They Both Die at the End is set in a dystopian future New York City where people get notified when it is their last day to live. Two young men - Mateo and Rufus - got such a call and the story follows them through their very last day alive.

I really didn't like the story. When I picked They Both Die at the End up, I didn't realize it was a YA book or targeted to those far less curmudgeonly as people like me. The character development was very simplistic and the dialogue is trite and deep as a puddle on a very dry day. After getting about 2/3rds through the book, I skimmed to the end and the title held true. Thank goodness its over!
