This story did not go in the direction I thought it would. That is huge for me, considering I’ve read, probably 80 different Greek mythology retellings by now. This was such a cool story, supporting women’s wrongs, showing how trauma and hurt and pain can affect someone and not boiling it down to the idea of “healing through kindness and charity”. And such a fun dynamic between the main characters as well.
