My least favourite in this series, but i think it was mainly to do with the setting. That made a huge difference to this book

Any book that you have to carry into the bathroom with you because you cannot put it down is a winner. While this book isn't my favorite in the series it is definitely worth the read.

Whew, what a great book, as always. I read the first 150 pages in no time at all, and the rest of the book was just as good; I just didn't have enough time to read straight through. This one isn't as scary as the first book, but it's just as interesting and well-written. If you've enjoyed the other books in the series, you will continue to enjoy this!

The books in this series seem too short!

Tom's Mam returns with instructions that he and the Spook visit with her at the farm. When the Spook finds she has made an alliance with the Pendle witches to travel to Greece and defeat the Ordeen, a very powerful witch hoping to ally with the fiend, the Spook is disgusted. Tom decides, of course, to obey his mother. Meanwhile, he is reunited with Alice, who is part of the Pendle alliance. Eventually the Spook comes around. Tom learns how powerful his mother is, which in turn means he'll be a very powerful spook. He also makes a pact with an enemy, information that he'll only share with Alice.

Another great one!! You can start to see Tom and Alice maturing, while John opens his mind. Can't wait for the next!

This one seemed a bit rushed to me. There was no real build-up as it jumped right into the conflict. Big changes for the main character though which should resonate into the next chapters.

Tapping out. Might skip to book 9. Everything is redundant at this point.

I couldn’t put this book down! Love where this one took the story line with Toms mom and Alice. And dying for number 7 to arrive because the intro was at the back of this one and I can’t believe what’s already happening!
