4.5 Stars. This was my first Katherine Center book and I genuinely had a good time. It was laugh out loud funny to me, and a perfect summer read. I enjoyed both MCs and the banter between the two. The only thing that knocked it down a little for me was how this badass bodyguard just took all the insults and criticisms from multiple characters. I understand self esteem issues as I deal with that myself, but with her it was almost paralyzing. I wish she had stood up for herself at least once. Yes, she finally told Robby no at the end, but that was it. It would’ve been nice to see her verbally lay the smackdown just once. But still, I very much enjoyed this story and will be reading from this author again.

It was a four star almost till the very end, strange plot twist and ending (the epilogue in particular) bumped it down.
I wish we got a bit of them together, instead the book just ends
