The King of Crows, by Libba Bray

This and the second book in the series weren't as fast-paced as the first. I feel like the focus shifted too much to the individual characters' inner turmoil to a point where it felt like everyone - especially Evie - was being painted as shallow and selfish, which completely contradicted the depth that was given to the character in the first and second.
I would have loved to finish the book, but it was difficult to stay interested when the main plot about
Spoiler The King of Crows and J Marlowe
seemed to be shelved.
There was also VERY strong themes of religious fanaticism, which is just a personal trigger that solidified my choice of putting this on my DNF pile.
