Overall, it was fine.  I liked that it showed how the main character had to deal with assholes policing her weight in public, and the ending was delightful.

A fun, quick read. Khaw accomplished exactly what they intended here!

This was so much fun! A bisexual werebear paranormal romcom with a fat woman of color as the main character? I couldn't resist. And this definitely lives up to that premise.

Extremely fun world building/characters/tone, pacing is a little weird. The plot kind of all wrapped up in a big hurry, guessing this would have either made a great short story or novel. 3.5 stars but I had fun

The book was quite preoccupied with how everyone looked. The main character is described as big, but all her male interests seem to be perfect lean bodies, which bothered me that it did make the distinction. Other than that is a fun rompe story about a werebear trying to date and finding someone to connect

A fun premise but a little disjointed in its execution -maybe could have benefited from having tighter editing or more space to explore the worldbuilding? I loved the humor, the concept, and the characters' potential.

I did like the diversity, I really liked the chatty writing style (very Sophie Kinsella), but it just kind of fell flat for me. Wasn't really fond of how flat the protag's relationship with her female love interest seemed: her two male love interests got zingy banter and animal attraction, and her female love interest got.... "she's so perfect". Also was sold to me as a novella about a polyamorous werebear but the polyamory aspect was not there. However: the supernatural integration was quite fun, and I liked the fashionable descriptions of things.
