Happy they got together and had their head, they were so much more normal as a couple and I liked that

Not as edgy and funny as the first book but I liked how the characters of Lindsay and Valentine were developed in this book. Valentine matured and Lindsay mellowed, and against the odds they were still mad about each other. There were a few story threads that were red herrings and it kind of dispaointed me- Lindsays job and his desire to do another criminal job. But the ending was cute.

4.5 because I love their character developments. Although I did miss their old personalities, I still love how they have to work hard just to be together. And I loved everyone's character development.

I love these sickos so much. I'll sure be reading this again. I don't wanna put it down just yet I don't want their story to end just yet!! But so glad they get the best happy ending that's only fit for them. I only wished we knew more of Lindsay's past. But him finally opening up bits of himself to Pip.

Sometimes I can't believe these are the same people we knew from the first book. The character development for all of them melts my heart. They're all so precious to me. Hope Dory grew up as fab as Pip except the fucked up part that's for sure.

T.J. Klunes summed up this series (here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/365570124?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1
in a way that I will never be able to, therefore also reminding me why he's a fab writer who has people panting over his books (me included!) and barely anyone ever reads my reviews!
This series is challenging and beautiful, entertaining and a total mind fuck. It's a twisted love story, an epic journey and I'm so happy I got a chance to experience it.
