I’ve always loved Anne. She’s exuberant and dramatic and genuine. Her ability to learn and live passionately is endearing. The audio done by Rachel McAdams took it to the next level for me and brought lots of joy and laughter to my days.

I’m so happy I finally got around to reading this! What a beautiful book. I adore Anne (with an e), so much and I see so much of myself in her. As a fellow INFP, I really understand and relate to Anne’s feelings. I especially relate to being told as a kid that I talk too much and use words that are too big. I relate to the way that she sees the natural world with such wonder, and constantly has an inner dialogue running through her mind. I’m always looking for kindred spirits, and when I’m feeling that sense of “otherness” I just have to remind myself that I’m not alone. Because people like LM Maude can write characters like Anne, I feel seen and validated. I’m so thankful this book came into my life when it did, especially when everything is so chaotic. Do yourself a favor and read this book, get lost in it, escape the craziness and just dive in

Charming. That is the word for this book.

I wouldn’t consider this a favorite book, but I did enjoy it.

Now maybe I could watch the film!

I loved this entire series when I was a kid. I reread this one multiple times.
