I think I found my new, number 1 favorite book.

Ok, I have lots of favorites. The others are mostly part of a series because I love being able to revisit characters in a new story. But I think #AlltheFeels by #OliviaDade could be my new, top of the top, favorite romance novel.

The book starts with our mains, Lauren and Alex, meeting under perhaps not the most ideal of circumstances. He is a “reckless” actor and she has been tasked to be his “minder”, to keep his more reckless tendencies in check.

Alex just can’t seem to stop getting in his own way. He’s an actor on a hit TV show. He’s got money, looks, charm, sex appeal… He also has #ADHD, a contributing part to his struggle to rein himself in.

Lauren was *supposed* to be on vacation in #Spain. While making a duty trip to say hello to her cousin (whom she doesn’t even like), he ropes her into being Alex’s minder after Alex gets in trouble again. He’s willing to pay her a ton of money though, it’s pretty easy work, and she feels obligated to say yes. So she cuts her trip short.

After spending nearly all their time together, they naturally become #friends. And, of course, friends stick up for each other right? And friends take #roadtrips together too.

Not all friends end road trips as just friends though.

I think this would be more like 2.75 stars but I’ll round up for the sake of the rating. This book was fun and sweet but it felt rushed and lacked the depth that the first one had. It read very much like a fanfic that was extrapolated into a book. Again, it was a good and mostly entertaining read. I don’t think I’d recommend it to friends like I would the first one though.
