I swear, I was online downloading this book and reading it at 12:01 am.

Soren, Kingsley and Nora all together 100 years in the past. No, not a time-travel, but a different view of the three had they lived back in those times. It's like previous lives living the same story with a new setting.

Enjoy!

Perfect, as always. Anywhere with Søren, Nora and Kingsley will forever be my happy place. Even in Victorian England.

I loved this! I think my favorite parts included Søren being relatively talkative, it was a good to see a "different" side of him.

This, hands down, is one of my favorite stories by Tiffany Reisz. Congrats, Ms. Reisz, on a job well done!

A Midwinter Nights Dream is an AU of Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners series. Set in Victorian England, Baron Sterns aka Søren to his friends, travels to London with his valet and lover, Kingsley, for reading of his late estranged fathers will where he learns that in order for him and his sister to inherit Søren must marry immediately. Kingsley suggest the only desirable option Sørens ward, Eleanor.

The Siren has been on my radar forever and after reading AMND it has officially become a top priority. Midwinter is a funny, charming, kinky, and perfect winter read.

Some of the stuff

This is really roughly about 47 pages. It was cute. I will read LITERALLY anything Tiffany Reisz writes.

Reisz releases a short story set in her Original Sinners universe every Christmas, but this year she followed a plot bunny and wrote an 85 page novella. I'm not complaining! The main characters are reimagined in the Victorian era with Soren as a Baron, Kingsley his valet, and Nora his ward.

If you haven't read the main Original Sinners series don't bother with this - you'll need to get through the first four books or so to understand and appreciate what's going on here. The vibe is completely "what if", centering on what it would be like if Nora and Soren actually got married. It's fun, it's a good kind of silly, and it has a couple of hot sex scenes. Soren and Kingsley's bisexuality is discussed in an interesting way thanks to the setting. Reisz even takes a plot device I despise and makes it into something palpable.

Not bad for my first read of 2019.

My Christmas reading list wouldn't be the same without something new from Tiffany Reisz revolving around her Original Sinners cast; particularly if it's about Soren, Eleanor and Kingsley. A Midwinter Night's Dream combined the Victorian era with Reisz's tempting erotica, weaving a tale that held me captivated. This fan favorite trio of characters were at their witty, naughty best. But there was still a lovely message and more than a bit of Christmas spirit, giving this a touch of poignancy that will touch your heart.
