I love Nona! Nona loves you!!

Muir as always keeps you on your feet not knowing what to expect and then blows your mind halfway through and you have to pick up the pieces. Can’t wait for [REDACTED]!

This entire series has permanently changed my brain chemistry and how I view Sci-fi / Fantasy forever! Out of the current three in the series, this one is the one in which I felt less confused, and I felt like I knew more or less what was going on most of the time. Amazing, adorable characters all around, both new and old faces (wink wink...), with Muir's very signature humor as expected. The beginning almost feels like a sitcom -in an apocalyptic setting mind you- but a coming-of-age, found family sitcom nonetheless. And then it escalates SO quickly, and the ending happened, and HOLY JOD!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!? I wish I had the proper words to describe just how great this book is, but I'm quite literally left speechless. So all I'll say is that I love Nona, and Nona loves you too <3

I am actually in love with this book and this cast. Phyrra, Cam, Palamedes and Nona were a wonderful little family. Even the slow, domestic parts were great. I would pay to read about this little family's day to day life.
This one was definitely less confusing than Harrow the Ninth and easier to follow.
The ending had me sobbing I literally cannot wait for Alecto the First

Once again an amazing addition to this series. All at once hilarious and nervewracking and mind blowing.
- I don't know how Tamsyn Muir manages to make you love so many characters at once (I didn't think I'd ever love anyone as much as Gideon, but this book had so many people to love).
- I don't have any idea who Nona is but I love her.
- I can't wait to see what happens next because I know it's going to be epic.
