This was the only Sherlock Holmes book I hadn't read and unfortunately I didn't end my experience on a high, particularly because the first story is so racist. I ended up skipping that one but so many of these stories were really average. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry, while also reading along in my physical copy and even then I found myself losing interest in a few of the stories.

My personal favorites were "The Adventure of the Dying Detective" and "The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax" simply because Sherlock Holmes is the most unhinged in them.
