This was easily one of my more anticipated YA reads back when the first book released, and I’m happy to say the sequel lived up to expectations. (And also that every single theory I had was correct, hell yeah.) I do wish there had been a tad more action, especially encounters with the Whisperer, but it was a solid book even despite that. Winnie is endearing as always and I’m really looking forward to the third book; it can’t come fast enough!
