So good! And so cinematic that I don’t know how it’s not a movie yet. Absolutely captivating! Ok, so there are some plot holes and a few unrealistic decisions made by characters, but I can overlook those for an outstanding premise (based in reality-read the acknowledgments) that is well-written and highly compelling.

This might be one of the most creative concepts for a book that I have ever read. I had so much fun learning about the world of cartography. And with a touch of magic thrown in? It was almost perfect. I just found the pacing of this book to be off a bit. I found some parts tough to get through because the pacing was so slow. Overall though, would definitely recommend!

When I first picked up this book and read the synopsis I said to my friend “Maps, mystery, and murder. SOLD! I have to read this.” The museum/history nerd in me loved every minute!
