This manga was a heavy, emotional read BUT I can not explain how wonderful and relatable this mangaka's story was to me and anyone facing a difficult parent/child relationship. I really enjoyed how the author described this frustratingly numb feeling that many people face as well as the guilt and frustrations that come with it.
If you are looking for a good Non-Fiction manga to read, and aren't afraid of raw emotions- totally give this one a go.

I've been putting off writing a review for this book because I liked it so much. Time to change that, I guess!
This book made me feel seen. It's hard to articulate and pinpoint all the hurt, guilt, and anger that comes from being a child of someone who suffers from alcohol addiction. This manga is so poignant, it isn't afraid to shy away from the uglier parts of the reality of the situation. (Especially from the child's point of view.) Definitely recommend! Absolutely check the content warnings/trigger warnings, though. I tried to put as many as I could remember, but it's been a little bit so I might've missed some.
