A really funny light read, loved the lead couple and would have enjoyed a bit more one on one between them. I really loved all the different crazy characters in this book and would love to meet Tex. I look forward to reading more from this series and am starting to think Kristen Ashley is up there as one of my favourite authors.

This book was laugh out loud funny. The closest thing I have found to Stephanie Plum!

This was a fun read that evoked similarities to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum character for me. I enjoyed the interaction between the heroine and her best friend and the way in which their families were inextricably linked. However, for being a "rock chick", she seemed to have way too many moments of spinelessness in the book. This was especially true with the love of her life. Considering that he broke her heart and some other stuff that I could mention but not sure if it would be deemed a spoiler, the hero slid in there more or less effortlessly. While I appreciate an alpha male character, this guy really didn't seem to be as into the heroine as she was him. He was badass but he was a bit too much of a jerk for my taste. Still, I found myself enjoying the ride that this book provided and hope that the next in the series is just as much fun. Oh, by the way, the sex scenes were pretty tame but again, I enjoyed the humour.

Recommend in another fiction novel, believe it or not. Fun!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had a little bit of everything: comedy, action, and of course romance. The characters were great and very entertaining. One of the things I liked most was that the book was (in my opinion) funny without trying too hard to be funny if that makes any sense whatsoever. I didn't want to put the book down and will be picking up book 2 as soon as I can!
