The third great book in the Price Manor series and it doesn't take long until they're in the house fighting for their lives.
I loved the gruesome imagery in this one and also the relationships between the group. I also liked the little nod to a fallen comrade about halfway through - you'll know it when you get there.
I did get to one bit and think "hang on, how did that happen", but it was soon revealed - and the twist at the end was great.
I can't help but wish this title began with a "B" though - Burns, Bleeds, maybe Breaks/Battles? Then the next 3 could be something else.
Oh yes, as "Price Manor will return..."
I am completely hooked on this series and will definitely be buying the future books when they come out - I hope they keep this beautiful artwork too.

Just like the two before it in the Price Manor series, The House That Falls is an amazing, disturbing tale of a house that appears suddenly and is more than meets the eye. Jay Alexander does an exceptional job at crafting an unsettling tale that guarantees several readings of this novella. Well done!
