My god, this ripped. Radical panels bursting with righteous colors. Radical lines glowing with jivey snark. Radical characters who are all in it to win it, whether against the tightening squeeze of corporate slingers or against the pop art upstarts driving fast enough to delay the future. What an absolute blast. Everything by Way feels like I'm discovering comic books anew at a much younger, more vibrant age. He delivers here with Simon, Cloonan, Piekos, and Jackson in colorful, chaotic glory. Mesmerizingly fun.

I enjoyed this more than the first in that it was more coherent and cohesive, but it did get a little hard to understand at 2/3rds and it felt too clean and not weird and obscure enough. The quality of the physical book was amazing! The pages were thick and textured, sewn in and sturdy.

some parts of the story are just unachieved in my opinion
what a psychedelic trip though!!
