I’ll start by saying I am a big fan of this author’s books but this one just did not land with me like the others. I was really enjoying the first half and then it all starts to go haywire. There seemed to be too much going on. It felt like there were almost too many plot twists (which usually isn’t bad but in this case it felt hard to follow). Still a great read for anyone looking for a short mystery/whodunnit but I felt disappointed after loving her other books so much.

3.5 Im so torn on this one. I absolutely loved Ruby but unfortunately I predicted almost every major twist. That being said, it was still an enjoyable read!

JL Hyde does it again with a creepy spooky edge of your seat mystery. I’ll be gobbling up every book she writes

Jamie, once again, killed it. I need a sequel asap.
