This is a wonderfully descriptive snapshot into the Roaring Twenties. The love story, the money story and the socialite story are all superb.

this had some of the most beautiful writing i have read!

what makes this such a great work of literature is its poignant symbolism and the themes revelant to that time. and that is amazing for people interested in that but i couldn't fully appreciate it.

overall, glad to have read this, but not something i am interested in.

Didn't read in highschool but read in college and it really opens your eyes on how things are during the times. And it also you see how it still relates to current times. I just loved it after reading it.
