Initially I enjoyed the book. The suspense/mystery part of the book was pretty good, and I couldn't really tell which of the two probable villains was the real one until close to the end. But, this book had one of my major pet peeves, which is when the heroine does something stupid (goes into danger) because the author is trying to make her seem "independent". Especially when the hero doesn't even ream her out for her carelessness/stupidity. I liked the hero in this a lot better than I liked the heroine, and there were some loose ends I would have liked cleaned up. But, overall, it was okay. Probably won't ever read it again, though.
