I can see how some reviewers labeled Lucy as a whiner, especially in the beginning of the book. However, I think listening to the audiobook version helped prevent me from putting a whiney tone on conversations that didn’t warrant it. I found her social awkwardness very relatable and laughed out loud multiple times while listening to this book. An enjoyable feel-good read!

How could I not love this book? Lucy is a single mom, and we got so much interaction with her son Levy. I also love seeing the sweet side of Drew as we find out that he was the man there for her during her pregnancy. Cooper is a recently moved out roommate of Drew (Lucy's brother). THE NAME LUCY MADE UP TO REMEMBER COOPER'S NAME OMG (Pooper Cooper). Dual pining from the start. Love how badly Cooper wants to be with her despite being her brother's best friend. OMG, all the plotting Cooper is doing to make Lucy want her & make her jealous at the start. But their romance is sooo cute and funny.

I loved Cooper and thought Lucy was so hilarious, what a cute couple. But the love was perhaps a bit too instantaneous and I would have liked a bit more interaction with the other characters. In all though, it's one I might consider rereading as comfort read.

Listened on my commute, light hearted and predictable but great descriptive wording. Entertaining, made me LOL daily and took my mind off work.
