Reviews with content warning for Pregnancy - The Off Limits Rule

This has not a lot to do with anything, but my husband and I met at work - I had a *massive* crush on him, but never thought he'd feel the same way. Then it got to a point where we both knew we liked one another, but we were both hesitant to make moves for Reasons™️, and I swear it felt like we were constantly surrounded by electric sparks.

That's what this book felt like to me. And I freaking loved it.

This book was light, and fun, and fluffy, and funny, and such a perfect quick beach / summer read. Also - I don't mean light or fluffy in a bad way, there's tons of heart and some difficult topics explored in the book, but it's done in way that still allows you to float on all the butterfly feelings the rest of the book gives you.

Also, the tropes (single mom & brother's best friend) were A+++, chef's kiss, perfection, etc etc. 100% recommend and am very much looking forward to the second in this duology as well as more from Sarah Adams!

this was cute enough, i guess, but just filled with too much insta-love and annoying characters for me to actually enjoy. i'll give the second book in the series a try though, seeing as i actually liked those characters.
