Too abstract. He talks in circles. Difficult to apply to real life

It has interesting ideas and a powerful first chapter, but as the author goes on with unnecessarily, at times incomprehensible convoluted prose asserting things about topics without giving much justification for his ideas it becomes clear he does not care whether the reader is following along or not. A short, thought provoking book with many profound ideas, frustratingly slow to read if you try to make sense of what Carse is trying to say all the time or an easy read if you just skip ahead.
