I was given a copy to read and review this book. This is an honest review about what I think.

I give it 4.5/5 stars. Why? Because I found it very engaging, easy to read, and quite sensual. I loved it. I just wanted it togo on for a few more page. The reason I did not give it the 5 stars, is because I haven't read the books before this one, and I felt lost trying t oconnect the dots at some points.

We have groups of people with different abilities. When her friend Jack McClennan is kidnapped, Dr Kristin Mentor decides to look for him. But she doesn`t know she isn't the only one looking for him until she meets Grayson.

Grayson Styles appears out of nowhere to help her find Jack. They find out he is being held captive by a woman who goes by Vertigo, so time is essential, and they can't waste any of it. With help from Grayson's mates, Kristin tries to focus on her friend and not on the incredibly handsome man she is attracted to.

Both hide secrets, and both try to not let their mutual attraction distract them from their mission, but love is not easy to get rid of...

I strongly recommend this book. Fast paced, sensual, addictive. The writer has skills and it shows. I will definitely read more of her books.

TW: violence, mind controlling etc.

This is a fast- paced novel with an incredible world building. I was impressed by how well-written Angels in Shadows is. I’d recommend this for fans of City of Orange by David Yoon!

I got this as an ARC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a very interesting read, It's about Dr. Kristin Mentor who is supposed to pick up her friend Jack from the airport but when she finally is there instead of finding Jack she finds Grayson Styles who tells her that her friend has gone missing.

Grayson and Kristin had a lot of chemistry, a very important thing in relationships, I thought their interactions and dialogue were very great and entertaining. I loved the fact that we got this story in third person and I know not many people do, but I think it's very great because you can more easily see everyones perspectives of what's happening without making an entire chapter about it.

I did however find many things very confusing and out of the blue, there should have been more leading up to some specific things instead of it coming right out, maybe it's just me but i felt that a lot really just happened without explanation.

I mostly enjoyed all the side-characters and as stated loved that we got to see their perspective even if it was just for a short while.

This book will get a 3.5 from me because I think that some parts were plain weird and unexplainable, and I really can't mention much without spoiling so if you want to find out what I'm talking about you'll have to read this book.

I do recommend this book since I think the good parts mostly overshadowed the bad ones.
