Another fast paced and complex story that follows Myron Bolitar as he tries to clear the name of his business partner, Esperanza Diaz, for the murder of one of his clients, Clu Haid. The many twists and turns of the story keep you guessing throughout until all is revealed by Myron and others at the end of the story. This is a great read with plenty of humour, especially some of the one-liners that Win comes out with, as well as plenty of conspiracy, murder and general mayhem.

Harlan Coben never disappoints! I think this was the 20th Coben book I've read and, well, what can I say. I still love his thrillers so so so much. And I absolutely loved this one, I liked it even better than the previous installment in the Myron Bolitar series. I love Myron and his weird sense of humour. I love his slightly psychotic best friend Win. Big Cyndi was an absolute delight this time around and the mystery left me turning page after page. It's interesting to see Myron evolve over the years. He's different from back in book 1, which isn't weird obviously - but it's one of the reasons why I don't get people who don't read a series like this one in order. Brenda is mentioned a couple of times throughout the book, but they never explain what happened to her or why she was so important to Myron. So. Yeah, it's kind of a big deal to read series in the right order.

Anyhow, I enjoyed reading this and I might write a longer review someday... but I still have to write six other reviews, so... probably not.

The Final Detail by Harlan Coben

This was my first Harlan Coben book that had Myron Bolitar as it's main character. I loved the characters! They were clever, well written and really interesting, the plot however wasn't as strong as it could be. The twist at the end as usual in Coben's books, was brilliant and completely unexpected but the build up could have been better.

This was a really good book. Bolitar disappears on holiday and is sought out by Win (my favourite character) who tells him that Esperanza has been arrested for murder of one of their superstar clients. Myron immediately returns and things get a bit complicated but interesting. Him and win are split as to whether or not she did it. A good plot and a good storyline. You want to know if she did ??? Sorry you have to read it. No spoilers here

This is probably my least favorite of the series so far and i think the constant rehashing of Myrons personality traits are becoming slightly grating for me. The late 90's is really showing through in this one. Myrons latent misogyny is at times debilitating to try and read through
