Well, that was depressing. Surprisingly though, I actually quite enjoyed it. I think that this is a very important book for everyone to read. Except, if I hadn't read this for school, I probably wouldn't have understood it/liked it. I do enjoy books about war, even though the topic can be quite heavy. I felt particularly attached to the characters, but I guess that was a mistake since everyone dies. Although I am not sure what happened to Tjaden. There is no mention of him anywhere. I looked and looked but couldn't find it anywhere. I'm assuming he died. All in all, I did enjoy this book, but I wouldn't read it again. Maybe I'll read it again once I forget everything. Because it is a very depressing book.
