I'd never read any Dorothy L. Sayers but I thought I should try one, considering how much I like Agatha Christie. It turned out to be really fun time and I think I'll read another in the future. It was much funnier than I was expecting and while I can't say I became very attached to Lord Peter, he was an entertaining character. I also enjoyed all the women who helped solve the mystery and the plot itself was pretty intriguing.

Picked this one up on a whim in the library. Love the way that the Lord Detective goes to interview the young woman on trial for murder and then spends the entire time pressuring her to marry him (provided of course, that he manages to save her from the hangman’s noose). Great start to a relationship!
