The author really opens up and allows us to see and feel her trauma alongside her. She has a way of writing that brings you into her world. It is absolutely a book I recommend. Read and learn from Alisson Wood.

How do you rate a book like this? I liked it and I was proud of the author for speaking out and telling her story as young girls need to know it is not ok for anyone to take advantage of them. But it was so hard to listen to at times and parts of the book literally made me sick to my stomach.

I loved the point of this book and it was impactful and truthful of trauma, the writing just wasn't my cup of tea and I felt a bit disconnected.

This was very challenging to read. Alisson’s story is gripping and somber. Props to her for forward! I found her writing style wasn’t for me and I think that’s what only holds me back from loving this.

Alisson thank you for sharing your story in such an engaging way - it felt like you were an older sister giving me advice. I really appreciated learning how you didn’t realize how problematic this relationship was and how you turned the trauma into something good, sex education. This story was super gripping and will not leave me anytime soon.
