The story was interesting about a 55 year man who still lives with his mother. He is lazy and liar. He decides to help his next door neighbor with a case involving her son in law who is in prison for a murder he did not commit. Claire is the neighbor an elderly women who hires Tom the lazy liar to solve the case as a wish before she dies. Tom takes the job for one thousand dollars and solves the case in the end. Tom is proud for his detective work. It is a quick read and a decent story but it makes the police look stupid that they did not figure out what Tom figured out.
