loved reading declan's story! it was interesting to see his memories of the triplets when they were little. and her story was something I haven't read before so that made it even better. really looking forward to the next one so we can catch up with all of the Gentry boys.

Fall

Deck and Jenny are by far my favorite Gentry couple. I loved how patient deck was with Jenny. I also loved seeing how different deck was from the start to the end of the book. I didn’t like that they waited until the end of the book to finally get together because it get like we didn’t get to see much of them together. I also felt like there wasn’t much of a conflict/climax in this book.

This book is mild compare to the other books in this series. Its not I do not like it, but it does not left any heart warming feeling. From the blurp I thought there will be some MC aspect to the story. And I was wrong.

The while story is more about reminiscene about Deck parent, Gentry twin's parents and their love life. Not so much twist and heavy plot. Just simple. I found it a bit boring in the middle.

There is that insta lust between Deck and Jeny. Their chemistry is cold and not develop well. Overall, with some parts are boring, I still enjoy this book OK. Managed to finish it during my insomnia night.

I enjoyed this story. I liked getting to know Declan Gentry better (though I felt his development was a little slow), and it great to finally see him fall in love with Jenny. There was something I can't put my finger on that held me back from really loving this book. As it is, I only just like it. I do know that I disliked how the characters seemed to meet and have a connection, then it felt like the next moment they were basically in love. I didn't actually happen like that, but most of their "getting to know each other" phase was skimmed and paraphrased. I can understand why authors do this with stories, but for me it makes the story feel too rushed, even when it's not. It's why I tend to favor books that are actually rushed and placed on unrealistic timelines; because, with those books, I actually see the relationship develop more. And after all, this is a romance novel. I come to see the characters meet and fall in love, by getting to know one another. So taking out a lot of interactions, regardless of how tedious they are to the overall plot, dampens my enjoyment of the tale.

As you can see from my rating, I really loved this one as well! This time we're getting to know one of the triplets' cousins, and he is a good guy.  Guess it is a crossover from another series too, although it can be read as a standalone.  I will probably have to add that series too, although while I like a guy who rides a motorcycle, I'm  not the hugest Motorcycle club story fan.  No, I never watched the Sons of Anarchy show.

My favourite of the series thus far.

I'd wanted to know more about the enigmatic Declan Antonio Gentry after he appeared somewhat infrequently in the first three in the Gentry brothers series and without doubt, Cora delivered a brilliant emotional tale.

Declan is great, but the triplets are better.
