A wonderful series this is, a 4.75 stars out of 5 stars. Loved the second book. Loved reading how Quinn would be survive and struggle to save all that she loves, and finding out who or what is betraying them. Can't wait to carry on with the series. Hopefully I'll love it till the end.
I love the writing style and the fact that Melissa Delport doesn't tell me which character's head we're in, I love the fact that with her writing I can tell and be able to stay along with the story. The best part I found about the story, is the world. I love everything about the world she has created, and can't wait to dive deeper into the world with her amazing characters!!

Holy cliff hanger. I have no words to explain just how much I enjoyed the read.

Although the Drake and Quinn happenings suck, but given that there are more books in the series I can hang onto some hope. Not surprised at knowing more about Isiah, but he's backstory person...now that was unexpected. I know I should be team Q and T, but no...it's just wrong.

Can't wait to read the next one. Hopefully we'll learn some more about the other Guardian's, the traitor is found...and the Drake and Quinn story works out the way I want it too.

Oh, it ends on such a cliffhanger! Got to start the next soon! I have so many questions but will read the next to see if they are then answered. There are so many plot turns and kicks that it flies by so quickly and you don't believe you have finished already.Thank you Melissa for a wonderful story. I hope the good "guys" (even if they are "bad good guys") win.

From a story perspective, the second installment of Quinn and friends is probably worth a rating of 3.5 or even 4. And, wow, does it end on a cliff-hanger. I'm really glad that I have book three sitting on my bookshelf already.

The lower rating is because I found the sudden changes in pace a little disconcerting a lot of the time. There were chapters where something undramatic was happening - a conversation, perhaps - and then suddenly in the very next sentence of that same chapter the same character was suddenly running through a forest or a street on some suddenly urgent mission. The same thing seemed to happen whenever any star-crossed lovers were in proximity to each other: there is a lot of angst when it comes to relationships in this story.

So some good parts and some not-as-good parts, but nonetheless, I'll be continuing with the series. And I look forward to doing so :)
