I read this a while ago and I liked it. I think it switched point of views. Like one chapter would be written in the girl's point of view, and another would be in the guy's point of view. It was pretty interesting.

This book was really good! I really enjoyed it. This book has been sitting on my shelf since I was 8 years old! I think it was about time that I read this. This book changes the point of view, from 2 people, Taryn and Jeff. They have been best friends since they were in diapers! Now it's the summer of 5th grade, right before they officially turn 6th graders! They are both really nervous to leave their elementary school and start middle school. This is gonna be their first year apart, not having home room or any of the classes together! But luckily they have their other best friends with them,(Taryn, Leslie and Cristina) and ( Jeff, Anthony and Peter.) Jeff has been wanting to get into the soccer team, for if he does, it means that he's gonna be playing for the higher aged team (7th and 8th graders) and not the 6th grade team! He can finally shine. Taryn is getting way too much self conscious, always caring about what other people think about her( and its a bit annoying) and her best friends (Cristine and Leslie) have been going boy crazy and its driving Taryn mad since they keep accusing her of liking Jeff (even if they are just friends.) Everything's gonna change, they will get into many fights, one of them being the biggest one they have EVER had! Tensions will rise between friends and attitudes will increase!
