i loved this book right up until the very end. because that was when the author decided to cram 100-150 pages of plot into 30. i would've loved to see these problems play out a bit more and add more to the characters' growth instead of being like
Spoilerwe're broken up, haha dead mum, ooo back together

Knitted Hearts, the sixth and final book in the Poplar Falls series is a wonderful slow burning, friends to lovers, second chance at love, romance that provides all the feels and small town charm. Sonia and Foster's story has been on my wish list for a while and I can truly say I was not disappointed. These two deserved their happily ever after. I absolutely adore them together. So compatible and right for each other. Their courting was so sweet.

Amber Kelly took this story in a direction I did not see coming, especially the last 10%. My heart shattered for Sonia. But even when faced with tragedy, you see how close this community is and how strong the bonds are. Honestly, their tight knit, have each others' back closeness may be my favorite part of this book.

I’m so sad to see this series come to an end. I’m not ready to say goodbye to this town, these characters and the love they share for one another. If you haven’t visited Poplar Falls, I highly recommend it.

A tear jerker in more ways than one, this ending of the Poplar Falls series brings two broken people together to find happiness and love. But when Sonia and Foster finally put their divorces behind them and are ready to try again, live has a way of throwing you for a loop and stopping you in your tracks. But will happiness and love prevail? Or will they end up with more on their plate then they bargained for? With a storyline that had me wiping tears from my eyes this was an emotional read. Amber Kelly took the reader in as a family member to the characters in Poplar Falls and although I am sad to see the series end, the characters will always be regarded as some of my favorites.

Man this one was bittersweet. I’m so sad this is the end of Poplar Falls! I enjoyed my time there and I loved the great big found family they all made.

The end was an absolute tearjerker but I’m still happy with out it was all wrapped up.

I'm not going to lie, this wasn't the perfect ending to the series, but I did still quite enjoy the overall story. Honestly, my only issue with this one was the ending. Everything felt very rushed right at the end and there was no real discussion between Foster and Sonia about any of the issues that arose between the two of them. Outside of that, I did enjoy the story and characters quite a bit. I liked how the relationship between them developed, the slow build to more between them was handled really well. I'm glad both of them found someone who really loved the other for who they really were. They may have stumbled along the way, but they found there way back to each other, and I did love how they supported each other.

Amber Kelly is an author I will definitely be checking out more from. I'm looking forward to jumping into her most recent series, Balsam Ridge. I loved the small town aspect of this series, and the close family and friends were a major highlight of this series. I just know the other work from Amber Kelly is going to have those same things, and I'm looking forward to that.
