Colleen Hoover said ACAB. She really does come up with interesting ways to keep love interests apart (but not for too long).

Dang good story. A little cliche and predictable. Some stupid decisions made by the female main character. HEA.

This book would have been so much better without Trey. Obliviously
he is the villain of the story. But he is such a cheesy villain. Planting evidence, being a bad cop?
the rest of the story is heart wrenching and beautiful but an unrealistic amount of conflict. Good read though!

I really liked this book. The main character and love interest (Owen) were very cringy to me at first (not a fan of 20 yr old MCs or broody artists that treat their previous girlfriends like dirt and only FMC is the one to change him) but they both redeemed themselves by about the middle of the book.

I ended up falling in love with Owen after that scene in the shower where he reminds her she’s beautiful. I also loved the bit of them shopping the aisle at Target. It was original and cute and I found myself smiling stupidly to myself while I was reading.

I absolutely LOVED the inclusion of visuals, especially that painting he drew of Auburn. It was so beautiful. And the idea of confessions is so cute too! I have seen stuff like that before in real life so I felt it was a very believable storyline.

I despised Trey and Lydia, but loved them for the plot. Like loved to hate them! I love when there’s an obvious villain haha

Overall, this was a cute read
with the perfect full circle moment
and satisfying ending. I probably won’t read it again but I definitely loved it.

Okay okay, I think this is my favorite CoHo book. I love Auburn, I love her story and I love Owen, especially them together. I hate Trey! What a disgusting character. There are so many aspects of this book that took me by surprise. A beautiful story with twists, heartbreak, anger, so many emotions. I’ve never come across a book that is like this. It’s so cool that Colleen used real confessions from readers and she had an artist create Owen’s paintings. Those two aspects made the book feel more real and interesting. I really really really love this book!
